My name is Michael Bungartz and I am a serial entrepreneur. I developed this condition out of my desire to live an extraordinary life. Although at times it can be difficult, I find happiness in the pursuit and adventure of it. You see, to me there was really no other path. I’m no actor, rock star, or amazing athlete, so an entrepreneur seemed to be the right road for me, and I haven’t looked back since.
Life as a Serial Entrepreneur
Over the past six years I’ve been a part of a handful of more ambitious ventures, and far more ideas that have been hashed out and left behind. I spent three years in the textbook industry while in college and worked on two separate ventures in textbook resale and then rentals before getting into real estate for a few years. I strayed from the web, but not for too long. I joined on with a startup rental search engine, RentUpdate.com in the end of 2007 which is gaining momentum with our soon to be Beta Launch.
Connect, Contribute & Learn
I’ve started e-Venture Today to connect with the community of entrepreneurs and contribute some of the lessons I’ve learned, and am learning as I continue to pursue my passion for business and entrepreneurship. My goal is to provide value to my fellow entrepreneurs through my writing in hopes to connect, contribute and learn.
Your comments and questions are encouraged. Please take some time and browse around. If you’re looking for something that I don’t have drop me a note and I’d be happy to write about your question/topic or point you in the right direction. I’ll leave you with my favorite quote:
“Far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory, nor defeat.”
~ Theodore Roosevelt, 1899
